News@norman article - highlighting New Destiny Community Church October 13, 2010

This week New Destiny Community Church was highlighted in the local paper, News@norman. Here is that article:
New Destiny Community Church is a new local church that has a heart full of God’s love and compassion to serve our community. We began last year in the home of Lead Pastor Mike and Melissa Teeter. In January of 2010, we had our first public church service at East Lincoln High School. We praise God for the first few months that we were able to utilize the high school and the many people that joined us! We launched with weekly Sunday services in April at The Club at Westport. Our services are focused on delivering a powerful message in a relevant, non-traditional , contemporary atmosphere. We are affiliated with the Assemblies of God. We invite you to join us Sunday nights at 6pm.
Over the last year, New Destiny has been involved with community events including Denver Days, 4th of July celebration and Denver’s first Christmas Parade. Just this past weekend, we were actively involved with Denver Days as a sponsor and vendor. Our guitar player Arron Council was the winner of Denver Got Talent! You may have seen us out at the Festival making balloon creations, giving out t shirts, offering face painting or handing out bottled water. Also, we support missionaries all over the world. Recently, we have had the honor of fellowship with missionaries from Mexico and Venezuela. In the coming months, we will be having outreaches to a local jail and prison. One of our highlights during the Christmas season is providing dinner and a program at a men’s prison.
We invite you to visit New Destiny Community Church. For more information, contact us at 704-947-3829 or newdestinydenver.org.
