Missionaries to Mexico - The Snugg Family

New Destiny Community Church loves missionaries! We are so excited that Clint and Alina Snuggs (and their children) are getting ready to leave for Costa Rica for language school and training. They are real close to meeting their budget. Please continue to keep them and prayer as they continue on the journey as first time missionaries.

New Destiny Communtiy Church - prayer time

New Destiny Community Church believes in the power of prayer. Without prayer, there is no power. We have a couple of times for prayer as a church: Sundays at 5pm (prior to church) and then once a month we are holding a separate prayer meeting (normally on a Saturday). We are having prayer this Saturday afternoon - we will have an exact time in the next couple of days.

This is a highlight of the holiday season and a great opportunity to touch the lives of men. We need many to partner with us to help provide food, volunteer to come serve, be a part of the program and prayer / financial partners. If you are interested and able to help, please contact me.

November 14, 2010 Prison Outreach testimony

Yesterday morning I had the opportunity to go to Kershaw Men's Prison to preach at the Sunday chapel service. Five men made salvation decisions and many others came forward for prayer. Praise God for changed lives! If you are interested in joining us for a prison outreach or helping in any way, please contact me.

James 1:19 - 25

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. 21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Communion Service - Sunday, November 21st at 6pm

On Sunday, November 14th at 6pm (The Club at Westport) New Destiny Community Church will be having our monthly Communion Service. It is one of our sacraments that we honor as a church in remembrance of what Jesus did for us! Thank the Lord for what He did on the cross so we may be saved. Thank you Jesus!
